The Senior QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and processes comply with project specifications, contractual requirements, and industry quality standards. The role involves monitoring and implementing quality control measures, coordinating with stakeholders, and taking corrective actions to maintain the highest standards of quality in construction projects.

Quality Assurance and Control
Monitor, implement, and report on the operation of Palace Group’s Quality Assurance System, ensuring compliance with project-specific and contractual quality requirements.
Ensure that subcontractors and suppliers comply with the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and site-specific procedures.
Monitor the quality and performance of suppliers and installation teams to ensure supplied products and services meet the required standards.
Verify that materials, works, and processes meet project specifications; stop or reject any non-compliant materials or work and inform the Project Manager and QA/QC Manager.
Ensure the correct storage of materials as per manufacturer instructions, including verification of shelf life and approved stock usage.
Assure product identification, tracing, and documentation from receipt until installation.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Observations when required for any non-conforming products, works, or processes.
Coordinate with the QA/QC Manager to improve site quality processes and procedures.
Inspection and Testing
Conduct material sampling and testing in coordination with the approved independent laboratories and submit results certificate to the Engineer.
Distribute inspection documents and reports received from the Engineer to the relevant teams on-site.
Ensure calibration certificates for all testing equipment used on-site are maintained and updated.
Conduct snagging inspections during construction and before project completion to minimize Engineer’s snags and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Training and Compliance
Ensure site installation operatives are trained in quality assurance and control measures.
Maintain up-to-date records of quality documentation, reports, and certificates.
Provide technical support and quality control guidance to project teams.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.
Experience in working with subcontractors, consultants, and engineers to ensure quality compliance.
Proficiency in conducting inspections, testing, and material verification.
